Event Description

Live Blogging from Sense of Place: Is the Masterplan Dead?

Is traditional masterplanning becoming outdated? This event will show how masterplanners and regeneration professionals can work with communities to build a sense of place, drawing on examples from the West Midlands including from Urban Living, the housing renewal pathfinder.

Key note speaker: Professor Nabeel Hamdi, Emeritus Professor Oxford Brookes University and author of 'Small Change' and the forthcoming 'The Placemaker's Guide to Building Community'.

This event, which takes place in central Birmingham, is sold out, but MADE (Midlands Architecture and the Design Environment) will be live blogging from the event throughout the day.
