About Me
My main business area is in leading and supporting improvements within the built environment, through my independent organisation, Fairsnape. Support at the moment tends to be sustainability, carbon and social issues, however my portfolio approach encompasses a wide range of organisational improvement with a client base that covers multi-national organisations to small micro businesses.

I blog and comment on the built environment, and indeed on the natural environment at www.fairsnape.wordpress.com You can follow me on twitter www.twitter.com/martinbrown and Skype via: fairsnape

As a resident of Second Life (avatar name: Brand Woodin) I explore the future of virtual environments as an aid to improving usability of built environments

I have more than a passing interest in connectivity - from application of complexity and chaos theory, to Web2.0 to wiki and blogs to connectivity with nature.

Be2camp Manifesto

Back in October at Be2Camp London, we said that although be2camp happens today, its not just about today, and that there will be other be2camps in the UK, in Sydney and in Illinois, but most importantly the be2camp site will become a hub for built environment web2.0 matters.

Now as we count down to be2camp north this Friday in Liverpool we have 166 members on be2camp.com from around the world, and with be2camp events being planned in Sydney, Chicago and elsewhere, be2camp has become that hub.… Continue

thanks martin - i really think there's a lot of conversations we could have about our work at the BCSE and what we're trying to do to connect people through the sector nationally. i can't make the next meeting as it clashes with our fringe session at the tory party conference - but would be keen to attend future sessions.
