Only one day that week I could not attend and the 12th is the date. What happened to serendipity? I'm sure EE Paul will find a way to keep the slackers up to date with the debate. Tim

be2camp brum

I've spent almost exactly a year threatening to organise a Birmingham be2camp and finally, thanks to one of our latest recruits, we've now managed to work out a date.

Lorna Parsons has done a fantastic job organising a venue and we can now announce that we'll be hosting an event on August 12th this year at the Fazeley Studios in Digbeth.

Along with the help of David and Soulla from Daden.co.uk, Lorna and I will be spending the next few w… Continue

BIM and social media

Here's my writeup of the Ecobuild talk I gave a few weeks ago...

I'll bring this with me to the next event. It's a development of the stuff I brought to the last be2camp. If the crowd at the next event is mostly filled with the same folks I'd better try and bring something new!

Great - I'll have a look and speak to some of our editors about it.

Enjoying the chat in Borough the other day Rob, and am enjoying your talk. Would love to have a run through your Birmingham model. Like the way it gets kids involved. "Can we steal the bus!"

Hi Rob,

I noticed that your are in sunny Birmingham - do you think you will be able to pop in The Facilities Show?

Hi Rob, me again - new here - can't figure out how to get your e mail address for the club mailing list?

Yes indeed. I am meeting John Cave at the end of the month - he is on the management committee of Coventry and Warwickshire's CE club - FORCE. I will add you onto the mailing list for the Black Country CE Club - we hold events around the 4 boroughs - unfortunately I can't attend any of our events and meet you there until May as I have taken on some temporary teaching work at city of Wiolverhampton College and hopefully after this morning's meeting at Wolverhampton University too which mean I am teaching on Thursday evenings.

It would be good to catch up. How many of us are there around Birmingham?

Regards

Roy

Hi, Rob
As you may have noticed, I have been adding the presentations from Be2camp 2008 to the website. I can't remember if you did your's from PowerPoint or not. If you did deliver a PowerPoint, can you let me have it, or put it on SlideShare so that I can link to it from the content pages.

Best wishes - Paul
